The dimness of twilight made visibility almost impossible as he sped up the mountain. To make things worse, a storm was on the horizon. A violent gust blew roadside debris onto the car's windshield as he rounded yet anoher treacherous curve in the road. taking into consideration the conditions which threaened his safe travel, ted pulled off to the side of the road.
