After nearly six arduous months of creative outpouring, Vincent had at last completed the final words of his first novel. Having been on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the suppressed emotions of all his hopes and frustrations filled him as he proudly grabbed that final page from out of the typewriter’s clenching carriage. As if an athlete looking back at the finish-line he had just crossed, Vincent held the final page before his eyes only to notice a tear; such a flaw, in his mind was the upshot of his unchecked emotional state. Because of the tear which rendered the page imperfect, he would need to retype his final words.
