One thing I forgot to mention...

I regularly go to the mall hoping to buy things that will make me look sexier, but I find that when I enter my outlets of choice I immediately become quite flustered and intimidated, and I look down and pace madly about and then leave, usually just before someone who works there can approach and ask if I'm finding everything okay.
That ought to clarify why I was at the mall today. (Said habit is compulsive.)Today I overheard a man talking at a payphone kiosk at the mall:
"...Still, I did something. I changed them. I catalyzed a reaction. Which brings me to my point: it's all about making connections. We can't forget that a lecture is in fact an intensely personal sharing of thoughts. It has to be as personalized as one's abilities allow. Thoughts in my classroom are packets of data beamed through the dusty air, their conduit, and encrypted and decoded by both parties. Yes, both parties: it's omnidirectional in that I feel the students as much as they feel me, and not only their moods, but also their hopes, desires, aspirations—in a word, everything. The art of interactive teaching requires a broadband connection that's always on."Only registered users can write comments. Please login or register. Powered by AkoComment 1.0 beta 2 |
