 I wrote "Bears". I guess I was simply too cowardly to be forthright about it. But I'm glad you all liked it. (Or said you did. I appreciate decorum, too.) I'm thinking of submitting it to The Paris Review. It would be a nice supplement to my income if they were to accept it.
Anyway, some friends and I decided to frolic in the summeriness yesterday. From 10:00PM till about 2:00AM we were at the Dairy Queen in Richfield, where we hid inside the monkey at the put-put course and, well, you know...
